Chinese Translation of guideline document now available

ASE's first translation of a guideline document was prepared by Dr. Feng Xie, University of Nebraska Medical Center and Dr. Xinfang of Huazhong University of Science and Technology Tongji Medical College, and is available in the Guidelines page. Like all ASE guidelines, it is on open document and is not password protected. Coming next: Spanish translation of the chamber quantification guideline.

Feigenbaum Lecturer nominations open

The ASE Nominations Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Feigenbaum Lecturer, who will present during the 2011 ASE Scientific Sessions in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in June. The deadline for nominations is October 15, 2010. Detailed criteria and a list of former recipients and their topics are available on the awards page.

Officer and Board nominations open until September 30

The ASE Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for a vice president to serve a 1 year term (in a 4-year ladder for the presidency); a secretary (2 year term); and five (5) directors to serve for a term of three (3) years. In these positions, the directors shall have responsibility for supervision, control and direction of the affairs of the Society, its committees and publications. The term of office will begin in June of 2011. More information can be found here.

The Vascular Imaging Symposium is a smaller, specialized educational opportunity for those who practice vascular medicine. The 2nd annual Vascular Imaging Symposium will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 9, 2010.
