The American Society of Echocardiography is an organization of professionals working to advance cardiovascular ultrasound and improve lives through excellence in education, research, innovation, advocacy, and service to the profession and the public.
ASE’s Mission
ASE is committed to excellence in cardiovascular ultrasound and its application to patient care through education, advocacy, research, innovation and service to our members and the public. Our members are Heart and Circulation Ultrasound Specialists dedicated to improving their patients’ health and quality of life. We advocate the use of ultrasound to provide an exceptional view of the cardiovascular system to enhance patient care.

Board of Directors
ASE has Board of Directors composed of 22 voting members who are cardiovascular ultrasound specialists. These individuals are elected to the Board by a nominations process, open to all voting members and ratified by the membership of the organization. Individuals elected to the Board serve for three-years.
