IRT COVID-19 Policies

UPDATED: Mar 24, 2022 @ 5:27 pm

The health and safety of our attendees is of utmost importance. ASE has put the following requirements in place in order to gain entry for this meeting:

  • Proof of full vaccination (a digital vaccination card, hard copy, or digital copy of your vaccination card are acceptable). An additional booster dose is also highly recommended.
  • Negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the start date. There are no requirements for the test type (including home rapid tests), although PCR test is highly recommended. If you cannot get a test prior to travel, ASE will have rapid self-testing kits available for your use. Results are shown within 15 minutes once the test has been taken.
  • Within ASE’s meeting space, mask wearing is required at all times, unless you are actively eating or drinking. ASE strongly recommends wearing an N 95, KN 95, or surgical procedure mask.

Please note, if your rapid COVID-19 test returns a positive result, you will not be permitted to enter the meeting functions, will need to follow hotel policies for quarantine. ASE will then recommend retrieving a PCR test as these results are more reliable. We strongly recommend you test prior to travel (but no sooner than 48 hours in advance) in order to ensure you can attend all meeting functions.

Post-Event

We encourage all participants to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 after the event. Based on current contact tracing advice from many health authorities, if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 10 days after returning home, please contact Kelly Joy (919.297.7177 or KJoy@ASEcho.org). If you notify ASE, then your name and contact information will be forwarded to the local health department. ASE is also required to abide by its course hotel policies, which may require sharing name and contact information of the person exposed.
