Patricia A. Pellikka, MD, FACC, FAHA, FASE, will become the fourth Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography (JASE) on January 1, 2023. She takes the reins from Michael H. Picard, MD, FACC, FASE, who will have served as the EIC for five years. JASE is the flagship journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, published by Elsevier, with a 2020 Impact Factor of 5.251. It is a peer-reviewed journal containing original research, practice guidelines, state-of-the-art review articles, and brief research communications on cardiovascular ultrasound, including new techniques with emerging clinical applications.
