Interventional Echocardiography (IE)

Specialty Interest Groups (SIG) are created to support our members who have a like interest in specialized areas with growth potential in cardiovascular ultrasound. SIGs bring together ASE members with similar professional interests and areas of expertise, providing a forum for networking, knowledge sharing, and the development of SIG-specific programs and services within ASE.

Due to the increasing volume of structural cases, this year the ASE created the Interventional Echocardiography (IE) interest group. With leadership input from nationally renowned experts in the field, this group hopes to bring to attention the various issues that face this burgeoning field. Some of the ways this interest group hopes to get its members involved is through virtual journal clubs, webinars, and other educational opportunities through the ASE. We encourage all members of the ASE with an interest in interventional echocardiography to join this interest group.

Instructions on joining the IE interest group:

  1. Log in as ASE member
  2. Click on your profile on the right-hand corner
  3. Scroll down, find the “Specialty Interest Groups” section, select “Interventional Echocardiography”
