Congratulations to the Winner of the 2026 Shark Tank Innovation Competition: iCardio.ai! 

ASE’s 2026 Scientific Sessions saw the Shark Tank judges give the top prize to iCardio.ai. While the judges were thoroughly impressed with all the competitor presentations, iCardio.ai stood out because of their clear progress and development roadmap for translating their technology innovations into a sustainable business model.

iCardio.ai’s flagship product is EchoMeasure, an AI tool for automating over a dozen echocardiographic measurements and improving standardization across the reporting workflow. Founded in 2019, the Los Angeles-based company has built its edge on a proprietary database of more than 200 million ultrasound images. EchoMeasure earned FDA 510(k) clearance in October 2024, and iCardio.ai separately holds FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for CardioVision, its AI-based aortic stenosis detection tool. The company has also forged partnerships with GE Healthcare, Abbott, and UltraLinQ to bring its algorithms into broader clinical use.

Congratulations are due to all our finalists! Selected from a competitive pool of applicants, these presenters delivered fantastic pitches to our panel of judges:  

• Bloom Standard Inc. presented on the EVA RAPIDscan system, designed to standardize image acquisition for rapid screening, triage, and echo spot checks. 

• CircuCare presented on Cynova, an AI-powered wearable robotic ultrasound platform designed for autonomous and continuous cardiac imaging. 

• eMyosound Inc. presented on Vocelo™, which uses ultrafast ultrasound and 3D shear wave elastography to quantify myocardial stiffness throughout the cardiac cycle. 

Where Are They Now: Echo IQ, the 2025 Shark Tank Winner 

Echo IQ took home the inaugural Shark Tank prize at Scientific Sessions 2025 in recognition of the sustainable business they are building around their innovative EchoSolv system.  Powered by Echo IQ’s proprietary AI platform, EchoSolv analyzes echocardiographic data to identify at-risk patients.  

A year later, Echo IQ has maintained incredible momentum: 

• Expanding regulatory clearances – EchoSolv AS (aortic stenosis detection) is already FDA-cleared and being deployed across U.S. health systems, including Mount Sinai Health System in New York. The company has since submitted its next product, EchoSolv HF (heart failure decision support), for FDA 510(k) clearance. 

• Deepening the Mayo Clinic relationship – Echo IQ expanded its agreement with Mayo Clinic to distribute EchoSolv HF through the Mayo Clinic Platform. 

• A major commercial partnership – Echo IQ recently signed a strategic investment and U.S. reseller agreement with global health imaging company Pro Medicus. 

• Strengthened leadership – The company onboarded a new Chief Financial Officer, Matthew Dodds, as well as nationally recognized structural heart disease specialist, Dr. Vinod Thourani, as Clinical Advisor.
