Breaking the Echo Ceiling: Promoting Professional Empowerment

Developed in collaboration with EACVI, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, this webinar aims to inspire and empower women in cardiovascular imaging to pursue leadership roles in clinical practice, research, and professional societies. Through shared experiences and practical guidance from established leaders, the session will highlight pathways to visibility, mentorship, and career advancement. The initiative also seeks to foster a global network that supports the next generation of women leaders in cardiovascular imaging.

Learning Objectives:

• Recognize the current challenges and opportunities for women pursuing leadership roles in cardiovascular imaging.
• Identify practical strategies for career advancement, including mentorship, sponsorship, and increasing professional visibility.
• Explore ways to build supportive networks and collaborative initiatives that promote women’s leadership within the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and the American Society of Echocardiography.
