Please join us for the 3rd webinar in our first ever Guidelines In Practice webinar series as our speakers discuss the new ASE “Identification and Mitigation of Cardiac Ultrasound Artifacts” guideline!
This webinar explores the fundamental mechanisms behind the development of common cardiovascular ultrasound artifacts to provide a deeper understanding of why they occur.
Throughout the session, participants will learn to identify the typical appearance of artifacts and develop the skills necessary to accurately differentiate them from real anatomical structures. We will specifically highlight artifacts that carry potentially serious clinical consequences versus those that are actually beneficial to the diagnostic process. Finally, attendees will gain practical strategies to mitigate or eliminate specific artifacts, while learning to recognize the unavoidable ones that must be identified to ensure accurate interpretation.
