Access peer-reviewed articles, original science, and cases where cardiovascular ultrasound was used as a critical component of a multimodality approach to disease diagnosis or evaluation through ASE’s journals, JASE and CASE. A monthly Echo magazine provides in-depth feature articles too

Innovative Education

The ASE Learning Hub houses the largest collection of cardiovascular ultrasound specific educational resources for online learning as well as associated physical products for lab use. Membership fees include over 25 new CMEs per year, specific to cardiac care and relevant for IAC echo accreditation, and ASE will transfer credits earned to ABIM, ABP, ABA, ARDMS, and CCI. ASE members receive substantial discounts on course registrations and products too.

Quality Improvement

Writing Guidelines and Standards that impact the practice of cardiovascular ultrasound is integral to ASE's mission. The ImageGuideEcho Registry – which is free for ASE members to join – was created to provide analytical tools to track quality improvement, compare performance, connect data outcomes, and examine data for innovative research.

Advocacy

ASE is the only organization solely representing the interest of the cardiovascular ultrasound community on Capitol Hill. Other advocacy related resources available to members include coding newsletters and access to an expert for questions, alerts when legislative or regulatory issues arise, and a weekly health policy briefing newsletter, to name a few.

Online Resources

Stay up-to-date on everything related to cardiovascular ultrasound through the online resources and social media channels, e.g.@ASE360. Echo Headlines, news articles related to the field, is delivered four times a week.
