Groundbreaking Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologies Unveiled at ASE’s 36th Annual Scientific Sessions in Nashville

(NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 2, 2025) The future of cardiovascular ultrasound is being showcased at the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) 36th Annual Scientific Sessions, September 5-7, 2025, at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn. Over 60 companies will highlight their groundbreaking innovations including newly FDA-approved technologies, provide immersive and hands-on demonstrations, new advancements in contrast, and medical tools that will lead to more accurate diagnoses and personalized patient treatment.

ASE’s Echo Expo changes this year to welcome four Education Hubs where the sponsoring companies can showcase their products in a more individualized learning experience. Two start-up companies are also participating in the new Accelerator Hub area that is designed to bring awareness to early innovations in the field. ASE 2025 is the world’s premier meeting for cardiovascular ultrasound practitioners and promises a wealth of education, research and the latest vendor technology. The Echo Expo will be open Friday, September 5, 1:15 – 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 6, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 7, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Highlights from the show floor, as reported in the vendors’ own words, will include:

ASE (Booth 828) will be selling both physical and online educational products at discounted prices. The booth will also be the hub for special 50th anniversary giveaways and sales items. This year, the ASE Foundation, and ASE’s ImageGuideEcho™ Registry, its multi-faceted echo repository, will share a space in the ASE booth. There will be many opportunities in the ASE booth for attendees to talk with leadership on important topics, like how to achieve the Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) designation, become a volunteer, sonographer leadership opportunities, and more.

The ASE Foundation (ASEF) is the central hub for all the organization’s charitable activities and initiatives. Attendees are encouraged to join the Cardiovascular Challenge, a step competition to promote cardiovascular health. There is also a special showcase of photographs called The Heart & Soul of Home, showcasing members’ talents and raising needed funding for the Foundation’s scholarships and outreach. The Foundation has awarded nearly $100,000 in scholarships and travel grants to 75 early practitioners to support their attendance at this year’s Scientific Sessions.

Abbott (Booth 711) will offer hands-on demonstrations of the next-generation MitraClip™ G5 and TriClip™ G5 transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) systems, minimally invasive therapies to treat select patients with mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. In the United States, a multi-center trial is underway, comparing the contrast to agitated saline, the current standard of care.

American Heart Association (Booth 814) Aortic stenosis is a common, serious heart valve disease, yet many patients remain undiagnosed, delaying critical care. To address this, the American Heart Association (AHA) created the Target: Aortic Stenosis™ program to improve timely diagnosis, treatment, and management. Through evidence-based tools and educational resources, this initiative empowers patients and providers, supports clinical decision-making, and enhances outcomes. Visit the AHA booth to secure your grant-funded spot in this AHA-led program today.
