Join Peter Rahko, MD, FASE, on Thursday, January 31 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time for an interactive live webinar as he presents part two of this webinar series “Guidelines for Performing a Comprehensive Transthoracic Echocardiographic Examination in Adults: Recommendations from the American Society of Echocardiography.” Dr. Rahko will discuss the difference between the comprehensive transthoracic echocardiography protocol and limited transthoracic echocardiography protocols, writing protocols, developing quality assurance programs as well as implementing these recommendations into daily practices. He will also provide information for how to acquire the standard set of echocardiography views and measurements to maximize diagnostic accuracy which will serve as a resource for protocol development for echocardiography laboratories.

Call for Committee Volunteers is Open

ASE depends on its members to get involved and advance our mission. Our volunteers help set standards, develop products, create courses, direct subspecialty activities, advocate for echo on the federal and state levels, and so much more. If you are a new volunteer interested in serving on an ASE committee or a member currently serving on a committee and would like to continue to serve, log in to your ASE member portal, click on “Resources” on the top menu bar, select “Call for Committee Volunteers” from the dropdown, and complete the interest form and annual disclosure statement.

The application process will remain open through January 7, 2019. The term of service for new appointments will be July 2019 – June 2020.
