Dr. Arora is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University and serves as Cardiology Fellowship Site Director and Director of the Cardiac MRI Program at the Portland VA Medical Center. He completed medical school in India before moving to the US for his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He completed his Cardiology fellowship training at the University of Connecticut program in Hartford and pursued an advanced echocardiography fellowship training at University of California, San Francisco.

A multimodality cardiovascular imager and clinician–educator, his work focuses on advanced cardiac imaging, fellowship education, and program development. He established the cardiac MRI program at Portland VA and has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and mentorship. Dr. Arora also serves as the cardiology faculty development lead at OHSU, with a focus on early-career faculty growth.

Within the American Society of Echocardiography, Dr. Arora is a graduate of the ASE Leadership Academy (Cohort 3) and currently serves on the Guidelines and Standards Committee and the Leadership Academy Oversight Committee. He is also actively involved in regional education through the Willamette Valley Society of Echocardiography.
