Robin Wiegerink specializes in non-profit management. She is the Chief Executive Officer of ASE and has been in this role since 2001. Under her stewardship, ASE has grown to represent more than 19,000 members across the globe. Since 2003, she has also served as the CEO of the ASE Foundation, a charitable organization providing support for research, guidelines and humanitarian outreach that directly impacts patient care.
A native of Chapel Hill, NC, Robin attended Hope College in Holland, MI and received a BA in Communications. After college, she worked for an advertising and special event firm, InfoMarketing Inc. for six years as an Account Executive specializing in association events and public relations. In 1994, she joined Olson Management Group and served as Associate Executive Director for the Council on Geriatric Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. She then moved to Washington State and spent five years with Melby-Cameron & Hull as the Executive Director for The Washington State Psychological Association.
Robin received a master’s degree in Not-for-Profit Leadership from Seattle University in 1998. She achieved a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the ASAE in 2000, and the Duke University’s Nonprofit Management Certificate in 1995.
