On May 2, ASE joined a coalition of cardiovascular groups in a letter to CMS responding to the agency’s proposed decision on the National Coverage Determination for tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (T-TEER). The signed organizations offer their support for the proposed decision memo for T-TEER Medicare coverage under Coverage with Evidence Development (CED). However, the letter also provides detailed recommendations for best practices, specifically emphasizing the need for operator and facility requirements.
