On March 20, ASE sent a letter to House and Senate leaders highlighting the safety and importance of echocardiograms and shared ASE’s policy priorities for the new Congress. The comments outline the society’s stances on physician payment reform, site neutrality, mandatory lab accreditation, echo as advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, medical research funding, and the echo workforce.
