On July 2, ASE joined the Alliance of Speciality Medicine letter to the sponsors of the No Unreasonable Payments, Coding, or Diagnoses for the Elderly (No UPCODE) Act (S. 1105). The legislation aims improve how Medicare Advantage plans evaluate patients’ health risks, reduce overpayments for care, and save taxpayers money by removing incentives to overcharge Medicare.
