On February 28, ASE joined a coalition of organizations representing over one million clinicians in sending a letter to Congressional leadership urging inclusion of Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act (H.R. 879), in the March 2025 appropriations bill. The coalition emphasized that 2025 marks the fifth consecutive year of Medicare Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cuts, with Medicare payments declining 33% since 2001 when adjusted for inflation.
