ASE supports the integration of AI in cardiovascular ultrasound to enhance efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and promote equitable, cost-effective care, while urging careful consideration of its development and use. ASE emphasizes the need for standardized AI terminology, transparent FDA-authorized validation processes, and payment models that recognize the continued role of clinicians in AI-supported care.
