On October 29, Reps. Greg Murphy, M.D. (R-NC), and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) introduced the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act, which will eliminate the upcoming conversion factor reduction and provide a ½ MEI update for 2025. ASE has been in contact with the Representatives’ offices and was an original supporter of the legislation. The official press release includes ASE’s endorsement, which is available here.
