On October 11, a bipartisan group of over 200 Representatives sent a letter to House Leadership urging legislation to block the 2.8% Medicare physician payment cut set to take place on Jan. 1, 2025. Additionally, the signed members called for a permanent yearly update to the Medicare Economic Index that reflects rising practice costs.
