What is the hotel rate and how do I make a reservation?

ASE has secured a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $350 per night plus tax (based on single/double occupancy). Please specify that you are with the “American Society of Echocardiography” to secure the group rate.

The room block will be held until January 25, 2024, or until the block is sold out.

There is also a $30/night plus tax resort fee that includes amenities such unlimited Wi-Fi, access to Agave, the Arizona spa facilities, run concierge and boot camp, yoga, and wellness walk classes, complimentary two-hour bike rental per day, tennis, pickleball, and basketball court privileges, and more.

Do I need to register for the meeting first in order to make a hotel room reservation?

The room block is designated for conference attendees, only. We ask that you register for the conference before booking a room reservation. Reservations without an accompanying conference registration are subject to being released.

Can I bring family or friends with me?

Yes, family and friends are welcome to join you at the resort.  As a reminder, State-of-the-Art Echocardiography meeting and meal functions are for registered attendees only.

Are meals included in the registration fee?

ASE will provide breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks for all registered attendees of the pre-conference workshop Friday and Saturday, and then for all registered attendees of the main conference Sunday through Monday in The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Convention Center. All other meals are on your own.

How many CME credits are available for State-of-the-Art Echocardiography?

ASE designates this live course for a maximum of 32 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits, pending approval. To claim all 32 CME credits, you must register for both the pre-conference Learning Lab and main conference.  For more CME information, please click here.

How can I claim CME credits?

We will send an email with instructions to claim CME credits. Instructions will also be available in the final program.

The evaluation will include the opportunity to provide your registry board information to allow ASE to submit your credits or points on your behalf. ASE submits credits/points to ABIM, ABA, ABP, ARDMS and CCI on behalf of the learner. Credits for Echo Hawaii will be sent to these boards. At this time, your CME/MOC Certificate will be uploaded to your ASE Learning Hub account. Instructions for accessing your ASE Learning Hub account will be included in the email.

What is the State-of-the-Art Echocardiography Cancellation Policy?

ASE hopes that everyone who registers for the course will be able to attend, however, we understand extenuating circumstances do occur. All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to Registrar@ASEcho.org. ASE’s Cancellation and Refund Policy is the following:

  • Cancellation requests received on or before January 16, 2024, will receive a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received between January 17, 2024, and February 15, 2024, will receive a refund of 50% of their registration fee.
  • Cancellations received on or after February 16, 2024, or no-shows will not be refunded.

What is the deadline to register for State-of-the-Art Echocardiography?

Early registration ends on January 16, 2024. Rates will increase by $100 between January 17, 2024, to February 15, 2024. Onsite registration is available, but rates will increase an additional $125 beginning February 16, 2024. Click here to register.
