FAQs

What is the hotel rate and how do I make a reservation?

ASE has secured a block of rooms for attendees at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa at a discounted rate, starting at $315 per night plus tax (based on single/double occupancy). Room rates will be subject to an additional discounted daily resort fee of $20 per room per night (plus tax).

Click here to make your reservation online.

The room block will be held until Monday, January 16, 2023, or until the block is sold out. Due to the high demand expected at the hotel and this conference, we anticipate the hotel and room block will sell out.  After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space-available basis. A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual reservation. Deposits will be refunded if notice is received at least twenty-one (21) working days prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained. More information about the property can be found here.

You can also call Westin Kierland reservations directly at 1-800-354-5892. Please specify that you are with the “American Society of Echocardiography” to secure the group rate.

Do I need to register for the meeting first in order to make a hotel room reservation?

The room block is designated for conference attendees, only. We ask that you register for the conference before booking a room reservation. Reservations without an accompanying conference registration are subject to being released.

Can I bring family or friends with me?

Yes, family and friends are welcome to join you at the resort.  As a reminder, State-of-the-Art Echocardiography meeting and meal functions are for registered attendees only. If you book multiple rooms, please use the attendee’s name on each reservation to avoid confusion.  Reservations without an accompanying conference registration are subject to being released.

Are meals included in the registration fee?

ASE will provide breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks for all registered attendees of the pre-conference workshop and main conference Friday through Monday in The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Convention Center. All other meals are on your own.
