The August JASE issue is now online, as well as the 2026 JASE Supplement in collaboration with the Canadian Society of Echocardiography. Regarding this collaboration, CSE President Igal Sebag, MD, FASE, says, “The Canadian Society of Echocardiography is proud to celebrate our partnership with JASE in advancing the communication of research, innovation, and discovery. This supplement showcases the extraordinary breadth and quality of work emerging across Canada, and reflects the creativity, collaboration, and commitment that continue to move cardiovascular imaging forward. We are deeply grateful to JASE for providing a global platform to share this work and amplify the contributions of our Canadian echocardiography community.”

This issue also includes ASE’s newest Guidelines and Standards, “Guidelines for the Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders for Cardiac Sonographers.” The August JASE incorporates several original investigations with a variety of topics including mitral valve disease, right ventricular function, left atrial strain, athletes’ hearts, and venous ultrasound. Readers can also look forward to three brief research communications as well as three correspondences.

In this month’s President’s Message, ASE President Cynthia Taub, MD, MBA, FASE, shares what the ASE Foundation’s global health outreach event to Nepal taught us.
