Echo Hawaii presents the latest information on established and emerging cardiovascular ultrasound technologies. Expert U.S. and international faculty discuss state-of-the-art technologies with a particular focus on how they can be effectively applied in the clinical setting. Case-based approaches are used to discuss new and established uses of echocardiography for diagnosis and guiding management in patients with a broad array of cardiovascular conditions. Topics include: advanced assessment of systolic and diastolic function, 3D/4D imaging, adult congenital heart disease, contemporary approaches to valve disease, advanced anatomy, ischemic heart disease and aortic pathology.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Echocardiography Education and Research Foundation. The American Society of Echocardiography is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Society of Echocardiography designates this live activity for a maximum of 31.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ASE designates the Maintenance of Certification session for 2 hours, and a maximum of 29.25 hours for the Main Conference. Attendees must have registered for the Maintenance of Certification session to claim full credit. The total amount of hours that can be claimed for attending both the Main Conference and Maintenance of Certification session is 31.25.

This activity has been awarded 10 BSE re-accreditation points, with no more than 2 points provided per day of attendance.

ARDMS, CARDUP and CCI recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor the credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers. All or a portion of this educational activity may meet the CME requirement for IAC Echocardiography accreditation. Pololu Valley
