Case-Based Series: Fundamentals of Strain Imaging
This program is a series of case-based video presentations featuring a practical “how-to” approach. It is intended for beginners to echocardiographic strain imaging to experienced users who wish to improve their skills. The focus is on global longitudinal strain or GLS as a measure of cardiac function additive to left ventricular ejection fraction using different software. Because strain imaging technology is constantly changing and improving, contemporary approaches are demonstrated emphasizing steps for quality control and recognizing limitations.
