Echovation Challenge 2018

Congratulations to the First Place winner of Echovation Challenge 2018, Team On-Sight, led by Dr. Achi Ludomirsky! Pics and videos will be posted soon, so stay tuned!

After two successful iterations of the Echovation Challenge in 2016 and 2017, the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) once again hosted the Echovation Challenge 2018 to help achieve our mission of accelerating innovation and shaping the future of cardiovascular ultrasound.

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment, it has become critically important for clinicians to quickly and accurately diagnose patients. The theme for Echovation 2018 is ‘Echo At the Speed of Life’ which aims to showcase innovations in cardiovascular ultrasound technology that have the potential for faster diagnoses and optimal decision making. ASE received over 30 submissions from around the world, which were then reviewed and scored by the Innovation Competition Task Force, ultimately selecting three teams to present their projects live during ASE 2018.

Dr. Partho Sengupta served as Chair of the competition for the second year; the live finals event was held on June 24, 2018 at 5:00 pm CT during the 2018 Scientific Sessions in Nashville, TN, hosted again by our superb Emcee, Dr. Randy Martin.
