- Identify and cultivate future leaders
- Act on behalf of the board of directors when not in session.
- Oversee the society and CEO.
- Provide guidance on contract-related issues for the society (JASE, Scientific Sessions, etc.).
- Conduct an annual staff performance and bonus review.
- Act as Ambassadors and participate in ASE and ASEF’s events and campaigns (Annual Appeal, Member Events, etc.).
- Approve Awards, Nominations and Course Chairs
- Active involvement in member recruitment call-a-thon
